New Short City of Rott Series: Animated Zombies of Rott

This new short animated City of Rott Zombie series features some of the Rotters of the City of Rott. These are original short films, not from any of the City of Rott films. They reveal some of the patterns of the undead corpses as they mindlessly wander around the City of Rott, searching and waiting for a meal to satisfy the Rott Worms residing inside their brains, controlling them.

As a note, the first film I made in the series, City of Rott 1, was completed and released in (early August) 2006 on DVD, the same time as two similarly themed zombie releases, including Slither, which featured slugs entering the minds of people to turn them into zombies, but had to enter through the mouth, whereas my Rott Worms can dig into the skin anywhere on the host. And Capcom’s Dead Rising, a video game set in a mall, released on XBox 360 in August 2006 also. There was a zombie movie resurgence in theaters and home video at that time, but the timing of City of Rott, Dead Rising and Slither all releasing in the same year with similar themes of parasites and zombies was unique and cool to see. I’m a fan of Slither and Dead Rising.

Tales of the Dim – New DVD Release Jan 2022. Packaging Design by Wild Eye Releasing, the film distributor handling my animated films including City of Rott: Otherworld. This film is available now on DVD with new special features including new commentary. Tales of the Dim originally started as an online animated horror series I created back in 2015, and progressed to completion in my spare time by 2019, while also working on CORO, the 3rd City of Rott film. The series is close to an hour in length, with each of 14 episodes being shorter in length, but includes some of my goriest monsters. Tales of the Dim Film and music by F. Sudol © 2022. Dead Fury 2022 New Packaging DVD Release in January 2022
