Thank you to the City of Rott Fans who have been patiently waiting since City of Rott Otherworld (COR3) was first announced many years ago. I’m happy to say my new film distributor, Wild Eye Releasing, has specific release dates for City of Rott: Otherworld, City of Rott 2 and City of Rott for 2022. Tune in to the Premiere Video Release Date Announcement on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 8 AM Pacific Standard Time, or 11 AM Eastern Standard Time for the US. Thank you. This new short animated City of Rott Zombie series features some of the Rotters of the City of Rott. These are original short films, not from any of the City of Rott films. They reveal some of the patterns of the undead corpses as they mindlessly wander around the City of Rott, searching and waiting for a meal to satisfy the Rott Worms residing inside their brains, controlling them.
As a note, the first film I made in the series, City of Rott 1, was completed and released in (early August) 2006 on DVD, the same time as two similarly themed zombie releases, including Slither, which featured slugs entering the minds of people to turn them into zombies, but had to enter through the mouth, whereas my Rott Worms can dig into the skin anywhere on the host. And Capcom’s Dead Rising, a video game set in a mall, released on XBox 360 in August 2006 also. There was a zombie movie resurgence in theaters and home video at that time, but the timing of City of Rott, Dead Rising and Slither all releasing in the same year with similar themes of parasites and zombies was unique and cool to see. I’m a fan of Slither and Dead Rising.
Here’s a look at the new packaging for Dead Fury, newly distributed by Wild Eye Releasing in January 2022. A 1 hour long “Making Max” how to documentary is included on the DVD, as well as new trailers for Dead Fury, Shock Invasion, Tales of the Dim, City of Rott, City of Rott 2 and City of Rott: Otherworld, as well as a Commentary Track. May be available at varied retailers online including amazon .com, Best Buy and Target.

After much research, City of Rott: Otherworld Finds Home Video Distributor. The film will be released some time in 2020, with things still early in the process. More news as it becomes available. This 1 hour and 50 minute documentary covers the making of process of creating your own film with only computer software and creativity, along with a ton of motivation to never give up a giant project that spans over 3000 hours, until it’s complete to the creator’s satisfaction.
Aspects of creating City of Rott: Otherworld include: story, script writing, dialog and voice recording, lip syncing, character creation, illustration/drawing, character animation, scene set up, technical directing, music creation, sound effects creation and editing, as well as final film editing for pacing and flow. A new trailer is now ready to watch, featuring a few new clips not revealed before. With this new trailer, I wanted to focus on the plot and the key points without spoiling what happens in the film, but also feature a key music track from the film, and also included on the upcoming Aggressive Electronx Album, “Decaying Hope”, by FSudol, planned for late April/May 2019.
As far as a release date for CORO (City of Rott: Otherworld), stay tuned as more news surfaces. The goal is 2019, but things are still in progress towards that goal, so no specific release date yet. As soon as I know close to when the film can be expected, I’ll post the news here. There is also a chance I might consider a film festival to potentially earn new fans and options for the film.
